WHISKEY BUSINESS UPDATE
Firstly thank you to those that have joined our mailing list and for everyones ongoing support of “Whiskey Business” Both in the form of the band and the Duo/Trio.
Without a fanbase, it makes it extremely difficult to have a successful band. You guys Rock!
EP LAUNCH
To date we have released our very first EP “It’s a Good Kinda Crazy” A huge thank you to those that have purchased it already.
The tour was amazing, we met many new faces and were able to catch up with some awesome friends and family members from our hometowns that we had not seen in such a long time.
WONDERFUL SUPPORT AT ALL OUR GIGS
We are slowly growing a wonderful support base and have return venues and great people returning to see us and even travelling great distances to see us. For that we are truly grateful.
MERCHANDISE
Over the last 12 months we have launched a line of Merchandise. The latest being our new Caps. Also available at gigs.
A LITTLE PIECE OF WHISKEY BUSINESS
Our very own line of Affordable Country Style Jewellery, both hand selected and hand made has been launched online tonight.
You can find that by accessing the Merchandise section of our webpage www.whiskeybusiness.com.au
FUTURE PLANS AND DIRECTION
We are discussing the possibility of recording some new songs over the next 6 months and releasing our very own Video Clip with the hope of it being played on CMC and without it even being a reality, it’s being requested in the UK. 🙂
GOALS
To perform to the best of our ability and spread the word about Rockin’ Country and how much fun both the music and the people who follow it are. Maybe it’s just a Redneck kinda thing.
EXCITING TIMES
We have already played some awesome gigs, some that cannot go without mention are:
Supporting Catherine Britt at the Blue Water Country Music Festival in Port Stephens last year
Supporting Ben Ransom at Tamworth in Jan at the TCMF
Travelling to perform alongside “The Viper Creek Band” at the Whoo Back Festival down south.
Having the boys from “Hurricane Fall” support our EP Launch
Supporting “Hurricane Fall” in Newcastle
QUEENSLAND GIGS
Quite a few keep asking us when will be coming to QLD. Well the answer is that we would love to come to QLD, but it’s a matter of finding the right contacts and the venues that are willing to give us a go without a strong fan base in the area. It’s not out of the question and as soon as we can find a way in, you guys will be the first to know 🙂
UPCOMING GIGS
In the next few weeks the Girls from Whiskey Business have been invited to perform at the Fundraiser in Newcastle to help raise funds to send The Viper Creek Band to Canada to support big names such as Carrie Underwood. Totally excited about this event.
We have a Charity Function in Gosford for the Variety Club where we will be performing alongside Selene McAlister and Lyn Bowtell.
We have been invited to perform at the Central Coast Country Music Festival (so a nice local one)
and the most exciting of all….. (drum roll) We have between 6 & 9, some still to be confirmed of our VERY OWN gigs at the TCMF…
it was a dream of our Vocalist Anita over 15 years ago… and the time has finally come.
A special thank you to Dallas Mehrton & Mike Vee. And of course to an agent and friend that has believed in us from Day 1 Paul Christensen from Whirlwind Entertainment. Thanks Champ!
Please take the time to put some of these dates below into your Calendar.
THANK YOU!!
